To USGA, cellphone is a performance-enhancing device

The cheating scandal that got golf 's attention last week included Tiger Woods and Jason Dufner's ex-wife. But a more serious cheating scandal might have arisen Tuesday.

This wasn't a case of using a foot wedge. Paul Fusco, the caddie for Sei Young Kim — a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour this year — was tossed from the U.S. Women's Open after reportedly taking cellphone photos of potential hole locations at Lancaster (Pa.) Country Club.

The USGA found Fusco in an area he wasn't supposed to be in and acquiring information that hadn't been released to players yet.
