The Wild isn't as good as it looked Monday or as bad as it looked Wednesday, but Minnesota is usually far closer to the first version than the second. Remember that as you work your way out of the Game 4 gloom.
In every playoff series it has ever won, the Wild has trailed three games to two after five. So even with a loss Friday night (8:30 p.m., FSN), not all hope is lost. Still, it would be nice for fans if a Minnesota team would do things the easy way once in a while.
"If [Devan Dubnyk] starts and struggles in St. Louis, the season is over. Teams with average goaltending do not last long this time of year."
