That includes 10 ways to save money on your wedding, including this rule-of-thumb on the size of the guest list.

"Don't invite more guests than you can spend one minute of time with."

So a 300-member guest list translates to a five-hour reception and a 150-member guest list translates to a 2½-hour reception.
