Wolves preview: G Anthony Edwards has 99 three-pointers made this season, four short of Wes Johnson's club rookie record set in 2011. … The Wolves are 5-18 on the road (1-7 vs. Eastern Conference teams). They have won their past five meetings with the Nets, but haven't played them this season. … The Wolves are 8-9 when leading after three quarters, but 3-26 when trailing after three. … Josh Okogie (health and safety protocols) and D'Angelo Russell (knee surgery) are out. … The Wolves still have the NBA's worst record (11-35, .239).

Nets preview: Brooklyn is 17-3 in its past 20 games under first year coach Steve Nash. … At 31-15, the Nets are a game behind Philadelphia for the best record in the East. … Seven-time All-Star C LaMarcus Aldridge was bought out by the Spurs on Thursday and this week will join the Nets, who also picked up F Blake Griffin earlier this month. … G James Harden joined the team in a blockbuster January trade, adding another star to the Kevin Durant-Kyrie Irving-led team. … Durant (hamstring) is out and Irving, whose girlfriend was expecting, is questionable. … Harden is averaging 26 points, nine rebounds and 11.4 assists and is shooting 46.8% in his 31 games with New Jersey.
