Lakeville North 2, Burnsville 2 (OT): Josh Kenney stopped 43 shots in net as the unranked Blaze held the Class 2A, No. 9 Panthers to a tie after overtime. Daniel Sandvig scored for the Blaze, and tallied an assist on Ryan Pearson's third-period goal. Max McGlade and Tommy Klans scored for the Panthers. Carter Springer finished with 23 saves for North.
Centennial 4, Blaine 2: Matthew Jennrich scored two goals to lead the Class 2A, No. 10 Cougars past the host Bears. Robert Carlson and Carter Wagner also scored for the Cougars. Nate Olson scored both Bears' goals, assisted by Will Hillman and Mick Rynerson.
Maple Grove 2, Minnetonka 1: Ethan Haider stopped 34 shots in net to lead the Class 2A, No. 18 Crimson in an upset win over the No. 8 Skippers. Matt Muller had 38 saves in the loss. Sam Huff and Jayden Walsh scored for the Crimson. Joe Molenaar scored the lone goal for the Skippers.
Stillwater 5, East Ridge 1: T.J. Sagissor scored two early goals to lead the Class 2A, No. 2 Ponies in a win over the Raptors. Jesse Bjugstad and Michael Kaufman also scored for the Ponies, while Noah Cates tallied a goal and two assists. Teammate Matthew Stanton finished the night with three assists. Jake Olson scored the lone goal for the Raptors, assisted by Gabe Urbanz.
Girls' hockey
Wayzata 5, Eagan 2: Natalie Heising scored two goals to lead the Class 2A, No. 11 Trojans past the visiting Wildcats. Anna Laugen, Maddie McCollins and Emily Wisnewski also scored for Wayzata. Grace Boswell-Healey had 28 saves in the win for the Trojans. Taylor Luecke and Hannah Kojetin scored for the Wildcats.
Mounds View 1, White Bear Lake 0 (OT): Rachel Anderson buried a powerplay goal in overtime as the Class 2A, No. 18 Mustangs defeated the No. 15 Bears at home. Teagen Johnson had 18 saves in the win for the Mustangs, while Calla Frank stopped 42 shots for the Bears until the final goal.
St. Cloud 2, Totino-Grace 1: Gabbie Rud broke a 1-1 tie in the third to propel the Icebreakers past the Eagles. Sommer Davidson scored in the opening frame for the Icebreakers. Mackenzie Bertolas netted the lone goal for the Eagles, while Kailee Medved tallied 37 saves in the loss.
