Durant's triple-double leads Thunder
OKLAHOMA CITY – Kevin Durant's seventh career triple double — 25 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists — led Oklahoma City to a 107-94 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
Serge Ibaka had 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Thunder, Russell Westbrook 23 points and 10 assists.
•SCHAYES DIES: Hall of Famer Dolph Schayes, a 12-time All-Star, died Thursday at 87. Schayes was diagnosed with terminal cancer six months ago. The 6-8 Schayes played for the old Syracuse Nationals from 1948-1963. He scored 18,438 points and had 11,256 rebounds.
•BULLS HANG ON: Pau Gasol scored 24 points in the Bulls' 83-80 win over the visiting Clippers, which ended a three-game losing streak. The Bulls caught a big break midway through the third quarter when Los Angeles All-Star Blake Griffin was ejected for a hard foul against Taj Gibson, and they won after blowing a 16-point lead.
