Ever find yourself griping about the amount of money professional athletes make? Nick Punto! He made how much?!?! Well, we have another question: Why does everybody go bonkers over the paychecks athletes are cashing, yet nobody seems to care when Hollywood actors and directors make unholy sums of money?

Remeber when Alex Rodriguez signed his 10-year, $252 million contract? You would have thought the world was spinning off its axis while simultaneously being engulfed in a giant icy bath from melted polar ice caps. It was seriously the end of days.

Well, James Cameron laughs at A-Rod for playing a simple child's game. Three-dimensions is the place to be. JAMES CAMERON MADE $257 MILLION IN 2010 ALONE! The vast majority of it was for his painted blue remake of Dances With Wolves. Un-[redacted]-believable.

Johnny Depp took in a cool $100 million. Adam Sandler stole $50 million. Kristen Stewart from the [redacted] Twilight movies made more last year ($28.5 million) than the average yearly salary of Joe Mauer's hand-wringing contract.

Please think about this the next time you are moaning about how much athletes make. We're not saying athletes are underpaid. All these people make obscene amounts of money. But feel free to spread the outrage around.

And, if you want: Speculate in the comments as to why you think actor/director salaries don't draw the same ire as those of athletes.
