Panther Ray

9 p.m. • 7th Street Entry • 18-plus • $6

Panther Ray has quietly become a jangly bright spot in the Twin Cities psychedelic continuum. The new boy-girl vocal dynamic suits their shoegaze-y, garage-charged ditties, with Heinrich's spunky beats propelling the more up-tempo tracks. With Rupert Angeleyes, Flavor Crystals and Whatever Forever. Michael Rietmulder
