Opening: The Children's Theatre kicks off its 46th season with the premiere of Victoria Stewart's adaptation from Kate DiCamillo's "Mercy Watson" series. The stories all feature an indefatigable, toast-loving porker (played by Sara Richardson). In one narrative, Mercy causes problems in the Watson household by getting into the parents' bed. After it breaks, the porcine wonder calls the fire department. Directed by Children's Theatre artistic director Peter Brosius, "Mercy" includes CTC veteran Gerald Drake, Mo Perry and Reed Sigmund.
