'Jersey Boys'

Tuesday-next Sunday: This popular jukebox musical returns to the Twin Cities with its rags-to-complicated-riches story. Through perseverance and talent, Frankie Valli and his neighborhood friends form the Four Seasons and escape a hardscrabble life in New Jersey for musical stardom. The story is fine as far as that goes, but the show really is all about the songs, including "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and "Big Girls Don't Cry." Here's a little-known fact: Valli was once signed to Motown Records. (7:30 p.m. Tue.-Thu., 8 p.m. Fri., 2 & 8 p.m. Sat., 1 & 6:30 p.m. next Sun. $33-$179. Orpheum Theatre, 910 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. 1-800-859-7469, www.hennepintheatretrust.org.)
