The Iliad
Opening: Actor Stephen Yoakam takes on a drama that spreads over many years, hundreds of battles, dozens of characters and a Trojan Horse. This singular adaptation of Homer's epic poem was written by actor Denis O'Hare and director Lisa Peterson, who will mount the Guthrie's upcoming production of "Clybourne Park." Yoakam, who portrays The Poet telling about the siege of Troy, is directed by Benjamin McGovern. (7:30 p.m. Sat., 7 p.m. next Sun.
