Opening: Jody Briskey and Tod Petersen (pictured) are the headline names in Minnetonka Theatre's production of this Cole Porter classic. Briskey plays Reno Sweeney and Petersen reprises Evelyn Oakleigh, the fop he played in Chanhassen Dinner Theatre's 2004 production. Briskey might be best known for her portrayal of Judy Garland in "Beyond the Rainbow." Petersen is a frequent performer at Chanhassen and created his own show, "A Christmas Carole Petersen." C. Ryan Shipley and Brooke Kilgarriff, who was Miss Minnesota 2009, play the romantic leads. Shipley played in last summer's hit "The Drowsy Chaperone" at Minnetonka Theatre. Kent Knutson directs.
