'ALL IS CALM: THE CHRISTMAS TRUCE OF 1914'

Wednesday-Saturday: This lovely musical essay on the Christmas Truce of 1914 returns for another season, courtesy of Theater Latté Da and the vocal group Cantus. Latté Da artistic director Peter Rothstein built the show around diaries, letters and historical documents that tell of the Christmas Day when Allied and German soldiers climbed from their trenches and shared the holiday. The show evokes the mysterious beauty of the season and the traditions that caused soldiers to commune with enemies during the first year of World War I. (7:30 p.m. Wed. and Fri., 11 a.m. & 7:30 p.m. Thu., 2 & 7:30 p.m. Sat. $28-$35.50. Pantages Theatre, 710 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. 1-800-982-2787 or www.hennepintheatretrust.org.)
