The trend: How to get cigarette smell out of clothes

A A detergent formulated to remove odor from athletic wear may do the trick. Try Tide + Febreze Freshness Sport, Sunlight Deep Clean or WIN Sport Detergent (available online at www.windetergent.com and www.amazon.com). Dry cleaning also can help, but that can get expensive.

Consider storing your clothing separately from your husband's clothing. Better yet, you can ban smoking inside the house. That would prevent the smell getting into sofas, draperies and linens as well as your clothing and hair.
