Design by the room Schreier Interiors of Stillwater has launched Space by Schreier, a design service that lets clients implement a comprehensive plan over time, paying a set $2,500 fee for plans for up to three rooms, with $750 per additional room or a $5,000 price for a whole-home plan. Jeff Schreier calls it a program for these economic times; he said clients get an analysis of the space and its needs, suggestions for re-using existing furniture, a floor plan showing furniture placement, suggestions for colors and purchases, tips on budget planning, a guide on how to complete the project and a list of independent tradespeople if clients aren't completing the work themselves. These are placed in a loose-leaf, coffee-table-sized book that clients can continue to add to, Schreier said, doing the work at their own pace. The business is working with luxury handbag designer Rachelle Copeland of Alexis Hudson to create a tote bag for the SbS book, with space for a tape measure and other items. To promote the service and highlight trends from the spring High Point Furniture market, Schreier will hold a Wine and Design party, open to the public, from 5-8 p.m. April 29 at 871 Neal Av. N., Stillwater. RSVP at info@jeffschreier.com. You can also send your e-mail address there to be entered for a chance to win a free Space by Schreier book.
