The Star Tribune wants your pumpkin pictures

In Focus, the weekly reader photo feature in Sunday Variety, is getting ready for Halloween and the holiday season. Here are the upcoming topics, along with the deadlines:

The great pumpkin: Do you love carving pumpkins? Have you taken pumpkin decorating to new levels? Show us your best pumpkins, even if it's your toddler's first masterpiece. Deadline: Oct. 14.

All dressed up for Halloween: Yes, we want to see that baby in a ladybug costume, but adults, don't be shy. The scarier the better. Deadline: Oct. 21.

I'm thankful for ... : As we prepare for the holidays, send us a picture — and a short explanation — that describes what you're truly thankful for. And if it's chocolate, we won't judge. Deadline: Nov. 7.

My favorite ornaments: Do you have a holiday decoration that holds a special place in your heart or your home? Send us a picture of it, along with a brief explanation of why it's so special to you. Deadline: Nov. 28.
