"Harry Potter" script found on tavern table.

April 10, 2010 at 7:13PM

Potted crew "Harry Potter" crew members apparently are under an absentmindedness (or death wish) spell: A script for the second installment of "Deathly Hallows," marked "Private and Confidential," was discovered under a table at the Waterside Tavern in Kings Langely, Hertfordshire, after some of the crew enjoyed a night out last week. The Sun newspaper reported that the script, which was returned to Warner Bros., revealed "several dramatic changes from J.K. Rowling's book." It's not the first time; in 2006, an "Order of the Phoenix" script was found along a road in Chipstead, Kent.

The final reel Oscar-winning screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher's directorial debut, "Violet and Daisy" -- described as "Thelma and Louise" meets "Superbad" and "Pulp Fiction" -- is rumored to star Oscar nominees Carey Mulligan and Saoirse Ronan. ... Stephen Daldry, who has picked up an Oscar nomination for each of his previous three films, is set to direct the adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer's "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close." ... Richard Gere, Eric Bana and Keira Knightley star in Noah Baumbach's adaptation of "The Emperor's Children," about wealthy Manhattanites in the summer of 2001.
