No longer seeking fame and fortuneEven if you've never heard of director Tom Shadyac, you've probably seen one of his films. He became a millionaire thanks to comedy hits such as "Bruce Almighty," "The Nutty Professor" and "Liar Liar." Now, he lives in a trailer park -- by choice. After 2007's "Evan Almighty" flopped, he became fed up with the Hollywood hustle and traded his mansion and lofty possessions for a simpler life. "I still have a lot of money that I don't feel is mine because it came from a competitive system that is helping, in its own way, to destroy the world," he tells the Los Angeles Times. So he keeps what he needs and gives the rest to others. His name has been attached to a remake of the talking-fish comedy "The Incredible Mr. Limpet," but he thinks the studio will pass on him. Why? Because he "envisions the film as an environmentally conscious comedy."

The final reelRobert Zemeckis reportedly is in talks to direct a remake of "The Wizard of Oz," using the script from the 1939 film. Meanwhile, Sam Raimi is working on a competing "Oz" film, with Robert Downey Jr. tagged as the star. ... Former President Bill Clinton shot a cameo in Thailand for "The Hangover 2," TMZ insists. ... "Glee" Emmy winner Jane Lynch is the latest star attached to the upcoming film "The Muppets," whose cast includes Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and maybe Jack Black.
