Summer centerpiece

Make a lemonade-themed table arrangement using sliced citrus fruit and citrus-hued flowers including daisies, mums and spray roses. Cost is $40 and includes all supplies. Gardens of Washington County

This self-guided tour on July 20 features landscapes with more than 1,500 varieties of hostas, extensive rock work, fountains, ponds and gardens that attract birds and wildlife in the Stillwater and Woodbury areas. Auxiliary garden tours

Travel in air-conditioned buses to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Auxiliary Garden Tours, which showcase four private gardens in the west metro area featuring ponds, sun and shade gardens, creative containers and garden art. The event includes brunch or lunch on the arboretum's Morgan Terrace and admission to the grounds. Tickets are $55 for July 14 and $50 for July 16 and 17.
