Fall feast

Thanksgiving is much more than meal planning. Bachman's Thanksgiving Inspiration Evening will offer demonstrations on arranging do-it-yourself centerpieces using fresh cut flowers and creating doorstep and entryway fall decor. It's time to put tender roses to bed for the winter. Learn how to protect cold-sensitive roses from winter weather and thaw-freeze cycles in the spring. Members of the Minnesota Rose Society will demonstrate the Minnesota Tip Method from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat. in the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Wilson Rose Garden, 3675 Arboretum Dr., Chaska.
