Houses aren't the only places that are haunted. "Ghouls and Goblins in the Garden" is a family-friendly event from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on the grounds of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Events include a Trick or Treat Trail, face painting, music and Pumpkin Palooza display. Costumes are encouraged. Cost is $5 for ages 13 and older; $3 for ages 3-12; free for 2 and under. After noon on Friday, cost is $10 for ages 13 and older. The arboretum gate fee applies and is $12 for ages 13 and older; free for ages 12 and under; free for members. Ar-BOO-retum is all day Oct. 31 in the Oswald Visitor Center with activities such as storytime and "spooky" tunes. Free admission for anyone wearing a costume. 3675 Arboretum Dr., Chaska. Call 952-443-1400.
