Younger viewers can turn to "New Year's Eve Live" (11 p.m. KMSP, Ch. 9) with host Cat Deeley and a couple "American Idol" performers or "Tila Tequila's New Year's Eve Masquerade 2008" (10 p.m. MTV) which sounds almost as painful as a real tequila shot.
