Everyone has their guilty cinema pleasures, and with Trylon Microcinema's monthly "Defenders" series, local luminaries share theirs. This month, singer/songwriter and well-documented geek Jeremy Messersmith will be in the hot seat to showcase -- and consequently defend -- his guiltiest of film pleasures. Though you'll have to attend to find out which forgotten gem the songsmith will be showing, he hints it will be "violent and sexy" and that "the film is a big influence on Mr. Tarantino."
