The corridor of death

The Minnesota Department of Transportation on Monday will begin building a concrete median on a dangerous 3 ½ mile segment of Hwy. 12 that has had six fatal crashes since 2011. The stretch of Hwy. 12 from Wayzata to the Hennepin County-Wright County Line in Delano has had 11 fatal wrecks between 2011 and 2016 killing 24 people. It's become known as the Corridor of Death.
