Four games from the end of their regular season, the Timberwolves conduct a 90-minutes shootaround this morning, which has to be there longest of the season.

Much of it was spent detailing how the Wolves would defend DeMarcus Cousins, a brute of a center who has tied the Kings record during the Sacramento era for 30-point games in a season with 26.

Then less than an hour later, the Kings declared both Cousins and starting point guard Rajon Rondo will be rested tonight, the last game the Wolves will ever play in Sleep Train Arena.

The Kings move to a new downtown arena next season after they have played in this joint since 1988.

Injured Marco Belinelli and Omri Casspi also won't play for the Kings against a Wolves team seeking to follow up their success from Tuesday's 124-117 overtime upset at Golden State.

Wolves interim head coach Sam Mitchell has talked in recent days comparing the season to running lines in practice, saying you always run through the finish and not just to it.

He said before tonight's game that is what he wants his team to do, play right through the end.
