Thank you for your letter or commentary

July 12, 2018 at 1:36PM

Thank you for your submission. Unfortunately, because of the volume of submissions, we are unable to respond personally.

If you submitted a commentary (a longer submission, about 700 words), you will hear from us if we accept it or if we have questions. After two weeks, feel free to submit your commentary elsewhere if you haven't heard from us. Of course, you may withdraw it from our consideration at any time by sending an email to opinion@startribune.com.

If you submitted a letter to the editor (shorter, about 300 words), you will hear from us only if we have questions. You may also withdraw it from consideration by emailing opinion@startribune.com.

Please don't take it personally if your submission is not published. Space is limited and we strive for a wide variety of subject matter and points of view. We appreciate your contribution and your interest.

Kind regards,

The editors at Star Tribune Opinion
