TFD: Twins are loading up the bats tonight

But is it the right approach?

We wondered how the Twins would counter their slumping ways. The early answer? Throwing bats at the problem. The tweet from La Velle is the lineup tonight for Game 1 vs. the Tigers. With Kubel in right and Cuddy at third, defense is certainly being sacrificed. In fact, if you put J.J. Hardy in the 9-hole upon his return, this lineup would be downright frightening. (We can quibble about Delmon being so low in the order, but that's a minor point). That said, it also underscores how much different this version of the Twins is vs. versions from previous recent years. We'll see if it works. Your thoughts on like vs. dislike in the comments ...
