Total QBR is not a perfect metric, but if you are trying to show that Christian Ponder is the same QB this year as he was last year, it is a great metric.

In 2012, Ponder finished 18th among NFL QBs with a Total QBR of 51.7.

In 2013, Ponder ranks 18th among NFL QBs with a Total QBR of 51.0.

An average Total QBR is 50.
