An SUV driver died in a collision with semitrailer truck in southeastern Minnesota, authorities said Saturday.
The crash occurred about 12:40 p.m. Friday on snowy Hwy. 56 in Windom Township, according to the State Patrol.
Sharon R. Swallow, 78, of nearby Rose Creek, was taken to a Rochester hospital and died there, the patrol said.
Swallow was heading west on Mower County Road 3 when she collided with a semi heading south on Hwy. 56, according to the patrol.
The semi had the right of way at that intersection, while the SUV had a stop sign to observe.
Truck driver Aaron L. Rame, of Bricelyn Minn., 28, was not hurt.
