Sunshine will brighten all of the sites for the 2010 Winter Games, both on Sunday and on Monday.

High pressure anchored to the north in western Canada will afford dry offshore winds and thus a minimum of any cloudiness. Daytime temperature will be moderate with 50F in Vancouver and about 45 at the outdoor venues from Whistler to Cypress Mountain. Winds will be light.

The pattern of dry, bright weather will break down beginning on Tuesday, when the first in a serious of Pacific weather systems spreads its clouds, rain and mountain snow into western British Columbia.
