Winnipeg defenseman Dustin Byfuglien will be "out for a while" after suffering a lower-body injury late in Saturday's loss to the Wild. Coach Paul Maurice said Byfuglien likely will not play until after the All-Star break but will not need surgery.

Oilers shore up D: Edmonton added three defensemen, getting Alexander Petrovic from Florida and adding Brandon Manning and Robin Norell from Chicago. Florida received defenseman Chris Wideman and a 2019 draft pick; Chicago got forward Drake Caggiula and defenseman Jason Garrison.

Union rips Stars exec: The NHL players' union called comments from Dallas Stars CEO Jim Lites "reckless and insulting," citing rants criticizing the play of high-priced forwards Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin. Lites used words such as "terrible" and "embarrassing" to describe their play.

Vegas 5, Arizona 1: Brandon Pirri and Paul Stastny each had a goal and an assist for the visiting Golden Knights.
