My dream trip is canoe camping anywhere in the boundary waters, but especially on Seagull Lake. From my house at the end of the Gunflint Trail, I can paddle to a campsite on Seagull in less than 30 minutes. I never get tired of hiking to the top of the palisades or walking the portage into Paulsen Lake. Exploring the islands, fishing the bays and enjoying the solitude of the BWCA is my idea of the perfect trip.
