Sales and events Start thinking about a winter getaway at swimwear boutique Nani Nalu (3922 W. 50th St., Mpls., 952-546-5598). They always cater to fitting real women, and this weekend they're helping cleavages of all sizes find support and lift. The Busty Beachwear Bash (Thursday through Saturday, appointments recommended) offers an impressive selection of styles and colors and a free bra fitting.

Through Sunday, take 20 percent off all regular-price gowns, dresses and dressy separates at Arafina (Galleria, Edina, 952-925-1565).

At Max's (3831 Grand Way, St. Louis Park, 952-922-8364), add a touch of drama to your holiday look with a Vincente Agor trunk show on Saturday and Sunday. The fine jewelry line is inspired by sacred architecture.

There will be more jewelry shopping on Thursday at Omorphia (206 Water St., Excelsior, 952-401-3311, 2 to 9 p.m.) with a trunk show, featuring work by the Greek line Konstantino.

Get intimate with men's underwear There's a new line in the men's skivvies department. Tommy John (www.tommyjohnwear.com ) was started by Tom Patterson, who lived in Minnesota earlier this decade. The current Californian's new company specializes in making an undershirt that stays tucked in, avoiding the usual riding or bunching up. In just three months, it became the top-selling underwear brand at Neiman Marcus.

The undershirts range from $31 for a tank top to $39 for long-sleeve; briefs and boxer briefs are $24. You can meet Patterson this weekend at Neiman Marcus (Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 505 Nicollet Mall, Mpls., 612-339-2600) and Nordstrom (Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mall of America).
