As seen on many attendees at the recent Fashion Week in New York, the Simply Vera Vera Wang line is the bargain brand of choice for the fast-fashion crowd. For fall, bundling up certainly comes with a reasonable price tag. This faux fur scarf ($30) and ruched long gloves ($30) are a good place to start. The hooded cardigan ($68) makes a cozy transitional topper. One thing I've learned in observing how Wang dresses herself: Buy your sweaters one size larger than you need and you'll look and feel more fashionably relaxed, not like you're trying too hard.

Opening soon: Later this month, check out the new StyledLife (www.styledlife.com) in Galleria. The downtown accessories shop in Gaviidae will open a second location in the suburbs, cornering the market on all shopping centers that start with "Ga."
