Liberty prints are having a fashion moment. The feminine garden-party florals were first popularized by London's Liberty & Co. department store in the 19th century. With more than 43,000 print designs, they always seem to pop up in designer collections from Nike to Louis Vuitton.

Anna Sui

In Sui's fall 2010 runway collection, a few designs incorporating Liberty Prints fit right into a celebration of the American Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century.

Liberty Print for Target

The new collection launches Sunday and includes a huge variety of clothes and accessories for women and girls and home accessories. Prices range from $4 to $200 (for a very bright bicycle).

Live Savvy

Local designer Shayla Boger was also inspired by the kicky florals for her line of headbands ($28). They're available at JUUT and Sara Mattson Skin Therapy and online (www.livesavvy.com).
