Name: William Charles Scribner Nickname: "Bucky" Claim to Fame, Minnesota: a punter for your Minnesota Vikings from 1987-89. He was the crucial bridge between the Greg Coleman Era and the Harry Newsome Era, and took part in both the best and third-worst Vikings playoff games of the last 25 years. Claim to Fame, Everywhere Else: long before Brett Favre, one brave man blazed the trail between Green Bay and Minnesota. A man called Bucky. Scribner was drafted by the Packers in the 11th round of the 1983 NFL Draft, and played two seasons for them. Along with Gale Sayers and John Riggins, he is also considered one of the all-time greats of Kansas University football. Most importantly: try to think of a better name for a punter. You cannot. Where He Is Now: lives in Overland Park, Kansas, where he takes part in celebrity golf classics with Freddie Patek and Danan Hughes. Is He On Twitter: no.
