Favorite winner of Oscar night? My favorite speech was from best supporting actor, J.K. Simmons. The simple, yet powerful reminder to appreciate your parents was moving and incredibly sweet.

What local shops to you like for formalwear? Sisu in Woodbury has great dresses for all sorts of events. House of 365 in Wayzata also has some unique pieces for a fun night out.  My go-to jewelry for most events is from Realia By Jen.

Favorite winner of Oscar night? Milena Canonero costume designer for the Grand Budapest hotel.

One decision you had hoped had gone another way? I had hoped "Grand Budapest Hotel" would have won best picture.

What local shops do you like for formal wear? For men, I highly recommend Atmosfere in Calhoun Square, they have a great suit collection and offer tailoring as well. For women, I recommend BCBG.

Even if there were omissions here and there, I believe everything happens for a reason. I wouldn't change anything.

Macy’s, JCPenny, H&M, Charlotte Russe and sometimes Express.
