The storm that soaked the Northeast Friday will advance across Atlantic Canada Friday night and Saturday. During the overnight hours, a heavy windswept rain will move from New England into Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Along the coastline of the Maritime Provinces, winds will exceed 40 miles per hour. Only eastern Ontario and perhaps western Quebec will get any appreciable snow from this system.

On the western and southern side of the storm, high winds can be expected from the Great Lakes into the Northeast Friday night and Saturday.
