Sarah Johnson, Annandale, sr.: Five-year starter led the Cardinals to the state tournament. Hard thrower with impeccable control. Record of 18-0, 0.56 ERA, 207 strikeouts and just four walks this season. More than 1,000 career strikeouts. Signed with Bemidji State.

Maddie Schwartz, Chanhassen, sr.: Stepped in as the Storm's ace and elevated a program with seven new starters. 13-4 record with 1.09 ERA, 130 strikeouts and three no-hitters. Hit .556 with eight home runs and 34 RBI. Signed with Wisconsin.


Abby Lien, Eastview, sr.: Talented enough to play anywhere. Also excelled at shortstop. A tough, competitive leader with a knack for big hits. Hit .460 with an .841 slugging percentage, seven home runs and 23 RBI. Signed with Iowa.
