Fair Game

Opening: Jeremiah Gamble, the songwriter/playwright behind Theater for the Thirsty, brings a new play to Yellow Tree in Osseo. Gamble has pitted an odd gaggle of folks against one another in a state fair contest The question of this comedy is whether they will tear each other apart or turn the tables and learn that life isn't always about winning. Potatoes of August

Opening: Four retirees are confronted by a sack of potatoes, and these potatoes have a few things to say about the metaphysical makeup of the universe. The play, by Sibyl Kempson, a member of Elevator Repair Service, drew good notices in New York for its imagination and skewed vision. Red Eye staged Kempson's "Ich, Kűrbisgeist" last fall. Steve Busa directs the Red Eye cast, which includes Kirby Bennett, Ben Kreilkamp, Chuck Deeter and Miriam Must. (8 p.m. Fri.-Sat. Ends April 27. Red Eye, 15 W. 14th St., Mpls. In this photo taken Monday, March 6, 2017, in San Francisco, released confidential files by The University of California of a sexual misconduct case, like this one against UC Santa Cruz Latin Studies professor Hector Perla is shown. Perla was accused of raping a student during a wine-tasting outing in June 2015. Some of the files are so heavily redacted that on many pages no words are visible. Perla is one of 113 UC employees found to have violated the system's sexual misconduct policies in rece
