The Dragons are Singing Tonight

Opening: An impressive array of talent has been put together for this show by TigerLion Arts to celebrate the dawning of the Year of the Dragon. The piece is based on a book of poems by Jack Prelutsky, the U.S. children's poet laureate, with music by composer Laurie MacGregor. Markell Kiefer directs a cast that includes wonderfully talented Isabella Dawis, Tyson Forbes ("Arsenic and Old Lace" at the Guthrie), Elise Langer (several recent Ten Thousand Things shows) and Maxwell Chonk Thao. Singers from Minnesota Boychoir, aerialists from Circus Juventas and 12 musicians complete the spectacle. --Graydon Royce
