'EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR'
Opening: The Producing House is an upstart outfit that quickly is making a name for itself with shows such as "Power Balladz" and "Coward's Women." The company has enlisted some established dinner-theater and improv talent for "Employee of the Year," an interactive show that they hope to be the next "Tony n' Tina's Wedding." Set at a company's annual award dinner, it has dancing, drinking, karaoke and, perhaps, a good time for all. Brave New Workshop alum Shanan Custer plays the company CEO. The large cast includes Amy Schweickhardt, Doug Anderson and comic punster Joseph Scrimshaw as a drunk.

'FALSETTOS'
This week: James Lapine and William Finn's musical about love, loss and gay life in the early 1980s won two Tonys after it opened in 1992. The combination of two earlier one-acts, the musical has had a parallel life with the AIDS epidemic. Its revival, by director Joey Clark, is to mark the 30th anniversary of fighting AIDS as well as to celebrate the nation's progress this Pride Weekend.
