Stage: 'Mary Poppins'

Chanhassen Dinner Theatre is producing the area premiere of this stage musical. Ann Michels plays the title character. Mark King, a longtime Chan regular, will play the chimney sweep Bert. The cast also includes Keith Rice and Janet Hayes Trow as Mr. and Mrs. Banks. Michael Brindisi directs. The play is based on the Walt Disney movie but draws more from the P.L. Travers books.
