Stable hand Kate Goderstad, 23, works at This Old Horse who's mission is to providesanctuary to retired, rescued, and recovering horses while they continue to serveas ambassadors to the positive effect of "horse power" in the lives of people. Goderstad developed a love of animals and horses as a young girl when she also was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, causing her to lose her eyesight by age 3.
