St. John Fisher of New York broke a scoreless tie with single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to defeat the Uiniversity of St. Thomas 2-0 on Friday inthe NCAA Division III softball tournament.
The Tommies, who lost 3-2 to Emory on Thursday, finished their season at 43-8.
St. Thomas managed only two hits in the elimination game.
