A 46-year-old St. Louis Park man is in the Hennepin County jail accused in a dozen felony counts of distributing and possessing child pornography.
Paul D. Reisinger is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. He has no lawyer listed and has no prior criminal record.
The counts are split evenly between distribution and possession and involve videos of children performing sex acts with adults, according to the complaint, released Friday.
Minneapolis police officer Dale Hanson wrote that after finding the videos online, he determined that the host computer was in a house in the 2600 block of Alabama Avenue S. in St. Louis Park, the complaint said.
Hanson obtained a warrant and allegedly found the computer in Reisinger's bedroom.
The complaint said the computer had more than 100 child pornography files, most of which were videos. Reisinger admitted to police in an interview that the computer was his and he was using a program to download and distribute child porn, the complaint said. He is alleged to have committed the crimes between Oct. 1, 2009, and Aug. 1, 2010.
The distribution charges carry potential sentences of up to seven years each, while the possession charges carry up to five years each.
