The Boss is trying to help out in these tight economic times. Bruce Springsteen is offering $20 behind-the-stage tickets to his May 11 concert at Xcel Energy Center with all proceeds going to the Second Harvest Heartland food bank. Other tickets cost $97 and $67.
In other concert news, Conor Oberst & the Mystic Valley Band will perform June 24 at First Avenue to promote their second CD, "Outer South," due in May. Godsmack will land at the Myth on July 24, and the 1970s duo Loggins & Messina ("Danny's Song," "Your Mama Don't Dance") are reuniting, with a visit Sept. 1 to the State Theatre in Minneapolis. Tickets to the latter two shows will go on sale Friday.
