BAILEY STEPS IN

Thursday-Saturday: Cellist Truls Mork has canceled his guest spot with the Minnesota Orchestra because of illness. Replacing him in the luminous Dvorak concerto, and making his orchestra debut, is Zuill Bailey, pictured. The Virginia native recently has played with the orchestras of Chicago, Milwaukee, Toronto, Dallas and San Francisco. Andrew Litton (who in July begins his sixth season as director of the orchestra's Sommerfest) conducts a program that also includes William Walton's commedia dell'arte-inspired "Scapino" Overture and Sergei Rachmaninoff's ultimate opus, the "Symphonic Dances" of 1940. (7:30 p.m. Thu., 8 p.m. Fri.-Sat. $25-$83. Orchestra Hall, 11th St. and Nicollet Mall, Mpls. $25-$83. 612-371-5656, or www.minnesotaorchestra.org.)
