CHOPIN SOCIETY Today: Trained at the Beijing Conservatory and the Curtis Institute, Yuja Wang has an aura of promise at 22. Her Frederic Chopin Society recital comes on the eve of her first CD for Deutsche Grammophon, and her program is suitably daunting, embracing Brahms, Scriabin, Stravinsky and the sadly neglected Nicolai Medtner.
