EARTH, WIND AND FIRE
Saturday: The festive R&B sounds of Earth, Wind and Fire might be more energetic than the PACER Center gala crowd is accustomed to. But these Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have an apropos theme song ("Shining Star") and some smooth ballads ("That's the Way of the World," "After the Love Has Gone") to complement their party classics ("Boogie Wonderland," "Let's Groove"). Three longtime members -- bassist Verdine White, left, singer Philip Bailey and percussionist Ralph Johnson -- are on board for this 26th annual fundraiser for PACER, which helps children with disabilities.
